We offer the bands on our label access to a high end
private recording studio. Get the same great engineers
and equipment used by professional recording studios. Our
engineers can help you find the sound you are looking for and our pro gear can
capture it. At
mixdown we can not only create a high quality master CD
but also burn mp3s from the master recording using our great audio converters,
allowing for mp3s with much higher quality than those created
afterwards.
We are proficient in many recording
techniques, both conventional and unconventional, and have several different
rooms designed for different sounds. We believe each recording should have a
sound of its own and don't use "cookie cutter" recording techniques that so many
studios seem to strive for which make everyone sound alike. (Unless you want us
to.)
We use high quality gear, both analog and
digital, which gives the artist the most flexibility while maintaining the
"warmth" and "punch" of analog equipment. While we don't give out an exact list
of our gear (after all our studio is designed for use by a record label and so
we have to keep this a secret) but we offer only high quality equipment from
names you can trust.
