Looking
for a nice cozy well stocked hangout in the northern part of Houston? Then check
out the Sidecar Pub. With a large selection of international ales and small hand
painted tables this place almost oozes local charm. Although rather small this
place makes up for size with friendly, clean, and comfortable surroundings.
Drinks
are relatively inexpensive and the bar staff are amiable. This is a nice
place to take in a live act. Check them out. They are open from 11am to 2pm.
Houston Live is a free resource for local and
touring bands to help them find great places to play in the Houston area. It is
a impartial review and we receive no money for this service. We also refuse to
accept advertising money from the clubs we review so that we
may call it like we see it. All reviews are based on unannounced visits to the clubs in
question. We have set for ourselves the
lofty goal of creating a local music community in the Houston area to allow great
bands who originate here to stay here and further their music career. To further
this goal we must have great live music clubs to support
these local artists.
