This section of our web site is a free resource for local band promotion
in the Houston Texas area and will be dedicated to our local artist of the
month.
We choose our artists of the month based on four ideals, talent,
originality, support of the Houston Texas live music scene, and heart. We choose bands who
represent all these ideals not just a few of them.
The bands are chosen by a panel of judges made up of the
producers and artists who work for SDR. All reviews are made impartially and

Pseudo Quack Axiom is a band that defies
description. They assault the senses with a multitude of styles and tease and
tantalize the listener with their unique style of independent underground rock.
With the sound that sometimes borders on metal and at other times shows all the
uniqueness of full-blown indie rock PQA is a force that can't be denied.
Straight from the Houston area underground and dedicated Houston scene PQA is a
full-blown local band with the talent to bring Houston to the attention of the
nation. With deep and thudding guitar riffs, forceful yet soulful vocals,
driving rhythms and catchy melodic undertones this band is everything a great
band should be.
PQA differentiates itself from the excruciating minutia of corporate rock with a
unique style that defies description. In an era of bland self censored

Gerald Williams on vocals, and David Lazarus on vocals and seven string guitar

bypass corporate dominated radio and allow a free voice to be heard in the
Houston music community and around the world. SDR is prepared to battle
