Four - Houston Alternative Metal Band

Four was founded in 97 Four Houston Alternative metal band and they have been playing their version of heavy dark ambient metal to the Houston masses since day one. Not your average metal band they blend all the classic elements of heavy rock and alternative metal with unique elements all their own. With Keith Bracewell on vocals, Mike Haseman on Guitars, Brandon Frolick on drums and Carl Toler on bass Four delivers original alternative metal in all its rage and glory.

With some favorable print in Edge magazine, Houston Press, Texas Access and some other reputable sources and a three song licensing deal for "Making the Video" on MTV Four is poised to break through from local heroes to mainstream success. With their new album release "Eliminate the Masses" Four's local success has gained momentum helping them pack local venues like the Engine Room and Fitzgerald's.

At a recent show at the Scout Bar we saw them open for Faceplant and their live show is not disappointing in the least. Full of energy and chugging rhythms the songs are simple but powerful without sounding dated. The bands playing is tight and polished without sacrificing the energy needed to drive it forward. All in all a very good live band. With a new album in the works this band continues to play shows and pick up fans.
