We are now signing three acts in

kit, CD or tape of 3-8 songs, and a 5" x 7" b&w or color band photo and any
contact information and website info if available. Please do not send your
package by registered mail due to mail restrictions.

Punk Brady Style is the place to check out nightlife
information featuring bands, clubs, links, news, and other information of live
music and other events in the Houston Texas area.
Independent record label Silver Dragon records is now signing three acts in the
progressive and alternative rock, emo and metal vein so if you think we are
right for you send us a demo and give us a chance to show you what we have to
offer.
Also if you have music online and available for download you
can send us an email letting us know where to get it. Please do not send a demo
or mp3 to us directly as our mailbox cannot hold the flood of submissions and so
it will have to be deleted.
At Silver Dragon Records we
sign, promote, and manage bands influenced by rock, metal and emo although we
are not too caught up in labeling music.
A press kit or one sheet is one of the most important things
you can do as a band except for a quality demo to get your music heard. If you
don't know what a press kit is click here for an explanation.
A press kit is a small booklet of information
which a band or artists sends to a producer or record label along with their
demo.
By catering to a small group of dedicated musicians who love
music for it's own sake rock record label Silver Dragon records is able to allow
artists the artistic freedom not available from a corporate record label.
Signing with Independent record label SDR - First
we are fairly new label which was formed by musicians and producers from the
Houston / Galveston area. At first we were an informal group of friends and
colleagues who had been doing underground demos for local bands to sell at gigs
and small record stores in the area.
Strangelight
- Strangelight is a band many local music
fans may have already heard about. They have been around for a few years and
have managed to score some decent press and pick up some fans along the way with
their own blend of influences.

Themagdalene
may be known to some of you as Dogtooth Violet or simply magdalene but whatever
you call it the members of this Houston local band know how to rock.
Downfall 2012 can trace their origin back to 97’
when vocalist and guitarist Danny Gil and drummer Josh Pazda joined garage band
Downfall, a high school rock band of which bassist Adam Pazda was already a
member.
Deep Ella - With a nomination for best pop/rock band
in 2003 you may already have heard of Deep Ella. In fact most people already
know this is a great band.
Pale was
formed in 1997 by vocalist and guitarist Calvin Stanley after his departure from
El Nihilo. He released two solo projects and put together a group to play a
series of live shows.
Faceplant - Houston Local
band From Houston's south side,
Faceplant has been together for over six years and has a reputation as a force
on the national music scene.
